Order Processing & Lead Time
For standard ready-made items, orders are processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation (excluding weekends and UK bank holidays).
For bespoke or made-to-order items, please allow up to 12 weeks from order confirmation for creation, finishing, and dispatch.
Shipping Regions & Costs
United Kingdom (Mainland):
• Standard shipping cost, £4.99 (based on small parcel rate up to 2kg).
• Free shipping for orders over £80.
Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands & Islands:
• An additional surcharge of £3.00 may apply.
• Delivery time may be slightly longer.
International Shipping:
• Europe, from £14.00 (estimate).
• Rest of World, from £20.00+ (estimate).
Customers are responsible for any customs duties or import taxes.
Delivery Timeframes
• UK Mainland (standard orders), typically 3–5 working days after dispatch.
• Bespoke items, up to 12 weeks production time, then standard shipping applies.
• International, estimated 7–14 working days after dispatch (varies by destination and customs).
Please note, these timeframes are estimates only, and delays may occur due to carrier issues, customs, or weather.
Tracking & Notification
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email with tracking details.
Please ensure the delivery address provided at checkout is correct. If a parcel is returned due to an incorrect address, you may be charged for re-shipping.
Packaging & Transit Care
All items are carefully packaged to protect dried and faux florals during transit.
Although most pieces are designed for indoor use, every order is packaged to minimise movement and protect delicate materials.
Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact monika@finchandthimble.co.uk within 48 hours if any damage is found.
Failed or Returned Deliveries
If delivery fails and the parcel is returned, you may be responsible for the cost of re-shipping.
If you fail to collect from a carrier depot or provide insufficient delivery details, Finch & Thimble reserves the right to charge a re-delivery fee or issue a refund minus the original shipping cost.
Changes & Cancellations
For standard items, you may request changes (such as shipping address) or cancellation before dispatch, please contact us as soon as possible.
For bespoke orders, once production has begun, changes or cancellations may not be possible.
After dispatch, changes or cancellations cannot be guaranteed.
International Customs, Duties & Taxes
For orders shipped outside the UK, all customs duties, taxes, and import charges are the customer’s responsibility.
We cannot mark parcels as “gifts” or undervalue shipments, as this is against postal regulations and may void insurance coverage.
